History
Back in my home country, I was part of a group of Half Life and Counterstrike gaming community and we participated in the finals for the 2001 CPL Asia Tournaments. This group went by the team name of NBTD, and that was where our guild name originates from.
Now the guild NBTD was formed in early February 2008 and our goal was not to be a casual guild, but to make serious progression. NBTD stands for “Nothing Better To Do” and this is self-explanatory.

For those who are unable to discern the meaning of our guild name, NBTD is all about advancement. We consider ourselves to be a serious hardcore raiding group and our members are encouraged to perform to their maximum potential.
For our current raiding progress, please refer to the Raiding Progress thread, which is constantly updated. Our main goal is to consistently push for progression and to experience the end game content as soon as possible.

What NBTD Offers

-A secure guild, a solid raid group and a balanced and mature raid environment.
-An avenue for you to explore your strengths, improve your skills and perform to your ultimate capabilities.
-Support and feedback from dedicated and friendly officers.
-A sense of welcome in a WoW community with like-minded players.
-A diverse mix of members without prejudice or discrimination against anyone, with regards to race, gender and disabilities.
-And lastly, we provide honesty and down-to-earth perspectives. We will never hesitate to give constructive criticism, yet we are also very generous with acknowledgement and praise to our players.

Requirements For Potential Applicants:
Consistency: 90% raid attendance, punctual, ability to stay throughout the entire duration of the raid (and if on standby, available throughout the entire duration of the raid).
Experience: At least 4/5 MH and preferably 3/9 BT at the least. Anything above this will be a plus.
Gear: Minimal gear requirements of a mix of T5, ZA and/or T6 equivalent gear (badge rewards), which should be adequately enchanted and gemmed. However, gear will not be so much of an issue if you have decent experience and raid attendance.
Preparation: Well-read on strategies/tactics and in possession of the necessary gears (eg. Resistance gears). Consumables are of primary importance for raid progression and every member is expected to come prepared with ALL necessary consumables.
Proficiency: Ability to give feedback, knowledge about your class and your role in the raid and a good display of it.
Enthusiasm : A team-player, co-operative and able to take instruction. Efficient, willing to learn, change and improve.
Maturity: Minimal age requirement of 18 and you must possess the maturity level expected of a reasonably intelligent and perceptive adult.
Communication: Although we have an international community in our guild, we communicate mainly in English and you would need to be proficient in both spoken and written English. It will also be a plus if you have a microphone and able to communicate on Vent.
